About Eleanor
Eleanor is chartered Landscape Architect, she has worked in private and public practice and might even have helped design some of the streets you walk around if you’re a visitor to the fine city of Norwich.
Prior to her career in landscape design, Eleanor worked as a drafting technician with Architect’s and has delivered a range of projects with contractors.
She graduated from Writtle College with a First Class degree (BSc Hons) in Landscape Architecture in 2012, and also collected the award for best design student in the same year.
Design Approach
Working from a small home studio, Eleanor has developed a range of services to meet clients various needs and budgets.
From basic design consultation services, to a full design package, or the Generous Gardener service, each project is worked through with the same thoughtful approach and attention to detail. Providing a design that will help you get the most out of your garden space and enjoy the many benefits that access to green space can bring.

Full Design Service
The standard full design service consists of the following work stages, (not all are required for every project) each stage is priced on a fixed fee based on an estimate of time taken to respond to the design requirements, using a £45 per hour charge rate.

Basic Design Consultation
If you don’t need a full design service but are looking for advice, this one off payment and service is for you. You’ll receive a questionnaire, and we will arrange an in person site visit to talk through your space and design issues. The site visit and discussion will include 90 mins of time. This will be followed up with a written record of ideas discussed and a list of links to useful resources to help you get your project going. For example, a list of tips and potential suppliers from paving through to plants, pots, and accessories to help you realise your vision.

The Generous Gardener
Named after a favourite rose, ‘The Generous Gardener’ service offers you a design, implementation and aftercare package. This includes a full design of your garden project, implementation of soft landscape elements (hard landscaping would be completed by a main contractor), and maintenance of planting for 12 months after completion. You then have the option to extend you maintenance package. This is very much a bespoke service for each project.
